Guidebook on How to change Tiktok Country
Thank you for your SIM card purchase. This guide is part of the TikTok region change method and will assist you in reaching your desired audience in the country you prefer.
This is the method we have been using for more than a year now on multiple of my TikTok accounts. We run a Shopify drop-ship store, and we prefer to get organic reach to a US audience. It is working as it should.
Below are some images of TikTok created with our USA card and VPN. As you can see, the TikTok account has all USA features, like monetization, TikTok Shop, and after running it for a while, we got more than 80% of the USA audience on most of our posts.
The guidebook is written with an example of using a USA card. The same guide applies for using any other country sim card that you got from us, just make sure to make a proper change in the country of the VPN. Sim card country and country of VPN need to match.
Foreword
Back in the day, until June 2024, it was enough just to plug the card into the phone, and it worked without any additional settings needed.
But then in end of June 2024, what looked like a TikTok glitch, seems to be a part of the new TikTok algorithm now in (most) cases. The key new change is sim in some cases, TikTok also needs to see your IP address to match your Sim card. In other words, a VPN or proxy is now also needed, along with a Sim card in some cases. So, if you see you only get local content videos in your FYP, that means it affects you as well.
Luckily, we have found some solutions, and with the method below, everything works as it should. The method described is shown in the USA as country or target (and FYP) but it also applies to any other country Sim card you have purchased from us, you will just need to change the IP solution for the target country. Please note, the key is to use a special type of VPN that will not cause TikTok to get shadowbanned.
What you need
Please note that this is just Our way of setting things up. There might be other solutions and setups people use. However, We have tested a few, and this one works best.
In general, the best way is to use a dedicated smartphone for this setup. It can be an old one, just be sure that you can install the TikTok app.
You will need?
- Smartphone. It is best to use a dedicated phone with any OS (IOS, Android). It can be an old smartphone, just good enough to install TikTok
- Sim card (card that you have purchased from us). Please note that you will need to have your SIM card inserted at all times when using TikTok. You will also need to remove any other SIM card from phone or disable any active eSim profile since it can interfere with TikTok
- Wi-Fi or Hotspot access. Smartphone will connect to the internet using your WIF or hotspot (and no mobile operator)
- VPN. We strongly recommend only using a VPN with a residential IP and type Sock5. More on this below
Not all steps are needed. Some are optional but recommended for best performance.
For example, if you had NO TikTok account banned or Shadowbanned in the past on the same phone that is your main phone, you don't need to make factory reset settings but is recommended.
Scenarios
Customers use our products for many different activities, and they have very different starting points. We'll try to cover most of them.
Our card works best when creating a new TikTok account. However, it also works on an existing account that was created for a different country. In this case, transitioning to a new country (country of Sim card) can take some time, in most cases around a week.
The most common of usage is when a TikTok account is used on a dedicated smartphone. It can also be used on your main phone, but in this case, you will need to swap your SIM card and run a VPN every time you use TikTok, which is not very practical, but doable.
The best way to use it is to use "Dedicated phone with new TikTok account". With this option you only use the phone for TikTok, and you keep our Sim card in the phone at all times and have a VPN active all times. To set up, you will do some tasks on the current phone setup and first research and get a VPN, then get Apple ID or Google account, and then start with a factory reset settings.
Possible scenarios
A) A dedicated phone with a new TikTok account
B) A dedicated phone with an existing TikTok account
C) Main phone with a new TikTok account
D) Main phone with an existing TikTok account
Here is the set-up flow overview for A:
- Select and get VPN info (on your device)
- insert Sim card
- Install VPN and connect it
- Prepare a USA Apple ID or USA Google account with a VPN connected
- Make the factory reset
- Install VPN and connect it
- Install the TikTok app.
- Register a new USA TikTok account
- Warm up your new USA TikTok account

It is the same as in A, but use an existing TikTok account instead of a new one.
Here is the set-up flow overview for C:
You will keep all existing settings, and you will not need to make factory result settings. Here is what you will need to do:
- Remove your main Sim card
- delete the TikTok app and clear the app cache and data
- Select and get VPN info (on your device)
- insert Sim card
- Install VPN and connect it
- Install the TikTok app.
- register new USA TikTok account
- Warm up a new USA TikTok account (in intervals)
- Once you stop using TikTok, log out of TikTok, disable VPN and reinsert your main SIM card
Here is set up flow overview for D:
Procedure is the same as in C, but you will just log in in with your existing TikTok account instead of creating new one
IMPORTANT:
Let us summarize, why Sim card play such an important role in the method.
TikTok can read data from a SIM card. The biggest factor is its “country of origin.” that fit your audience. If you order a SIM card for the USA, TikTok will be able to read from the card that your main location is the USA. There are a few more parameters (like how its phone number is written) on this specific SIM card that make it ideal. We provide TikTok with the information it requires to serve us the content we desire… So, for that reason, we don’t need any active phone numbers on SIM.
LET'S START
Prepare your phone
You will need an Android or an Apple iPhone. It can be with any OS version, you don't need to update the OS if you preferred.
You can use your main phone, however it is a bit more challenging than using it as a dedicated phone. If used on the main phone, keep in mind you will need to swap sim cards all the time using TikTok and have VPN on, and this is very unpractical in real life.
For that reason, we strongly recommend using a dedicated phone. Any smartphone that you can install TikTok on is fine.
Remove any existing SIM card
Make sure to remove any other SIM from your phone and also disable any active eSim profile.
Insert Our sim card
Keep in mind that you will need to keep the card in the phone at all times when using TikTok
Make Factory reset settings (optional)
If you are using your main phone for TikTok, then Factory reset is not needed (skip this step). It is just recommended to Clear TikTok app cash and data in uninstall the TikTok app, and install it again.
What we always do is make a factory reset first. The reason behind this is that we want to get rid of all the old information our phone has about us, including its content, settings, cookies, etc. TikTok has all your device information, and even some trace of your previous “real” location can flag your account. There are plenty of guides on how to do it. You might check out one of these videos on YouTube.
After the reset, Android or IOS will set itself up again.
Make sure that Region/Country: United States and
Language: English is selected: English (United States)
Let the phone complete its setup.
Google account & Apple Id
IOS setup - Apple ID
To summarize the process. We will create new USA Apple ID. In order to do this, we will need any device that have VPN connected to the USA IP. It can be your iPhone, iPad, Android phone, MacBook, Windows laptop or desktop. We will then register new USA Apple ID using Web browser.
Visit the US Apple ID website (https://appleid.apple.com) on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Select Create Your Apple ID, then choose the United States as your country and fill in all the requested details. You can use a USA phone number from providers like https://www.textverified.com/ or contact us, and we will provide you with a number to use for free.
In some cases, you will get an error: "Our request could not be completed at this time" or "Your account cannot be created at this time." It is very common if you use a web browser or VPN, but there is a solution that works. You will need to contact Apple chat support using this page: https://support.apple.com/en-lamr/contact. Select "Apple ID," then "other Apple ID topic," and then type: "Your account cannot be created at this time." in the "Or, tell us in your own words" field. Then select "issues with account verification" and click "continue," and then select "Chat" on the next page. Wait for the operator and write the following:
I was trying to register a new Apple ID over the web browser using my email, [email protected], and I got this error:
"Your account cannot be created at this time." Can you please check what the issue is and help me create an account?
The operator will ask you a few questions and make some adjustments, and you will get confirmation so you can try again.
Then just try to create an Apple ID again using the same process as before, and it will work. You can ask the support operator to hold on chat until you confirm the account was created successfully.

Alternative option

Android setup (Gmail and Google)
Steps to get a USA Google Play Store account from outside the USA
The trick to accessing the USA Google Play Store from anywhere is to use a US IP address with your VPN enabled.
Follow these steps to access the Google Play Store from anywhere in the world:
- Start and connect to your VPN
- Create a US Google account
- Go to Settings on your Android device
- Look for the Google Play Store under the Applications section
- Tap on the Google Play Store in that section
- Tap on ‘Clear Data’ and ‘Force Stop’
- Close the Settings menu Launch the Google Play Store app again
US Google account
This is the process for creating a US Google account
- Connect to the US VPN server
- Open your web browser in incognito or private mode to avoid any location-based data from being used
- Go to the Google Account Creation page
- Fill out the form with your details. When asked for your location, select the United States
- Use a U.S. address. You can find a valid address by searching for businesses or using address generators online (for example, https://www.bestrandoms.com/random-address-in-us)
- Google may require a phone number for verification. You can use services like https://www.textverified.com/ or contact us, and we will provide you with a phone number for one-time verification for free
- Complete the verification process using the provided number

VPN SETUP
We're going to need to get an app for VPN on our phone and set up a VPN connection.
A) Android
- VPN username
- VPN password
- IP address (hostname)
- port
Enter all the info above into your VPN app, as shown in the image below. After clicking the "save" button, the APP will check if the information is okay and give you the option to start a connection with the green button, "Start"
Force VPN - Always-on VPN
If you are setting up VPN on a dedicated smartphone, we advise you to activate "Always-on VPN," which will keep the VPN connection alive all times. To do this, just navigate to the "Setting" menu of Super Proxy and click to "Always-on VPN" then enable "VPN" on the next screen and select "Super proxy" and enable "Always-on VPN".
B) iPhone
Connection check
After setting up a VPN on your Android device, you need to check if the connection is okay.
First check with your smartphone browser and open the page: https://ipleak.net/
You shall see your USA IP and name, or your USA Internet provider, such as ATT, for example. This means you have successfully connected to the USA VPN.
Then it is also advisable to check the quality of your IP that you got from your VPN provider by visiting the page: https://www.ipqualityscore.com/ip-reputation-check
Page will give you a score based on many factors. The lower, the better.
TikTok registration
It is now time to register your TikTok account.
While connected to your VPN, access the Play Store / iOS App Store and get the latest version of TikTok installed on your phone.
Create an account with Email only. Do not create an account via Apple ID, Google ID or Facebook (Do not use "Continue with Apple ID, Continue with Facebook or Continue with Google). Although this option seems more legit in the eyes of TikTok, it might cause you to need to make a factory reset phone later in time if you wish to change your account.
We recommend only to use Gmail account and some other popular email services like Yahoo.
We got some questions in the past if you can use temporary email. Answer is yes, but only if you have no plan to use the account again, since you will not be able to retrieve the verification code if requested by TikTok.
Once you register your TikTok account, it will ask you to access your phone contact. Do NOT allow this permission. This permission could allow you to not only access your contacts, but also access and read system identifiers and Device ID of your phone. You can only allow account Camera permission.
Alternative option: obtaining ready-made USA TikTok accounts
If you want to skip creating a TikTok account yourself, you can get already created USA TikTok accounts. Accounts are new and ready to use, and they come with 0 or 1000 followers. Location - GPS setting
Disable Location services
Android
To turn Location Services on or off on TikTok:
- In the TikTok app about info page, tap permission.
- Tap the Location permission.
- Tap the "Don't allow" button
On Android devices, you can also choose between turning off location tracking completely or fine-tuning each app's settings. To do this: Go to Settings> Location and then toggle Off the Use Location selection.
IOS
To turn Location Services on or off on TikTok:
- In Settings, select "Privacy"
- Tap the Location Services.
- Tap and disable "Location services" button
Enable Location services
The alternative option is to Allow Location services on TikTok with using spoof GPS apps.
IOS users don't need to use this, since there is no free solution to spoof location. We suggest switching off the location.
For Android users, go to the Play Store and search for the app “Fake GPS Location,” and install it.
If you don’t have a Google Play Store account ready, you can download it directly from Apkpure here. To install it from Apkpure you might need to allow Android apps from unknown sources. More on this is explained in this post.
Then, in the app, enable location change and set it somewhere in the United States, for example, as shown in the image. Make sure that you enable location change in the app.
How to check if country is changed?
1. Text to Speach voices
- On the Create screen, record or upload a video.
- Type in your desired text.
- Tap the Text-to-Speech button [speaking head icon].
- Once the Text-to-Speech panel appears, tap on the different icons to hear your text sung in the different pre-selected melodies.
- Click “Next” and post your video!
2. USA creators in your FYP
When browsing on TikTok "For You Page" (FYP), you will find that over 75% of the creators featured originate from the United States.
Issues and Fixes
2.0 Possibe roadblocks
If you had many TikTok accounts on your phone before, then your account might be shadowbanned. Tiktok can read the IMEI of your phone. Solution. Insert one SIM card into another tray if you have a dual SIM card.or gogole for “change phone IMEI.” It can be done or tried on another phone.
The best solution is: You should use an iPhone instead of an Android phone because the Apple policies don’t allow the transfer of the IMEI and other sensitive data to app owners. If it is true that IMEIs have been banned.
3.0 Optional steps
For those who prefer to be even more “safe,” there are some optional steps. I don’t follow them myself. I will not hurt the method, but in theory, they can improve it.
3.1 Step 1
For instance, if you want to move to France, you’ll have to switch to French as your native language. It’s a straightforward process. Here are the steps:
- Open your TikTok app.
- Tap the “Profile” button in the bottom right corner. It leads you to your profile.
- Click the menu icon in the top-right corner.
- Select “Settings and privacy.”
- Select “Content Preferences” under “Content & Activity.”
- Select “Video Languages.”
- Tap “Add language.”
- Select the language in which you want to see content (English, for example), and click “Done.”
There is nothing wrong with getting 1 or 2 videos outside the USA if they are famous; it happens. I, for example, get 1 or 2 German or Spanish videos every 100-200 videos or so, because they’re famous.
3.1 Step 2
Registering an account with a US phone number instead of an email address.
If you decide to use this option, I would strongly suggest that you only use a non-voip, or so-called “real sim,” wireless number. I can hook you up if you need suppliers.
3.2 Step 3
Using USA IP
If you decide to use it, make sure it is only a 5G, LTE, or 4G private proxy or VPN. or, in some cases, if you find someone with a private residential line. Don’t ever use a public proxy or VPN.
Best time to post videos
Set phone timezone to EST time.For getting high engagement rates i suggest to post on following times (EST timezone):
Monday at 6 a.m., 10 a.m., and 10 p.m.
Tuesday at 2 a.m., 4 a.m., and 9 a.m.
Wednesday at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and 11 p.m.
Thursday at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 7 p.m.
Friday at 5 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Saturday at 11 a.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m.
Sunday at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., and 4 p.m.
Issues and how to fix:
Your account has 0 views**, even after uploading several videos.
Your account has less than 100 views, after previously getting 500-1000 views:
Check your engagement stats. If users abandon your videos within 2 seconds, indicating low engagement, it's unlikely a shadowban. In this case, it's best to abandon that account and create a new one, as TikTok may have categorized it as not worth promoting.
Have you uploaded too many videos in a single day? For a fresh account, the recommended upload rate is 1-2 videos per day. Exceeding this limit can negatively impact your new uploads' performance. Remove any low-performing videos and wait 2-3 days before uploading a new one. This may help resolve the shadowban issue.
TikTok might have detected that your videos were mindlessly copied from another platform. In this case, you'll need to improve your video repurposing strategies.
TikTok Zero Views [FIXED] Algorithm Question / Shadowbanned
**EDIT/DISCLAIMER:**Multiple people are saying that the information I am sharing is not true. I am making it clear that nobody really knows how the TikTok algorithm works except for maybe workers who are actually at TikTok. All points in this post are based on my experiences and the experiences of other. I am sharing what I have noticed and others have noticed when they experience the problem. Of course correlation does not = causation but if you don't know what to do the points in this post are defiantly POSSIBLE CAUSES! That's all they are POSSIBLE CAUSES & POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS! I am not telling anyone what to do with their account just sharing experiences of myself and other so I do not understand why people are calling my thread BS or downvoting.
I am making this section to share possible solutions to the ZERO VIEWS problem.
There are multiple reasons why you might be getting zero views and it is NOT because your content is bad. No matter how bad your content is it will still get a few views on the FYP (How else would TikTok know it's a bad video). If you are getting views from the FYP but just a low amount then YES, your content is trash!
If you are getting zero views and it's been after 24 hours post your TikTok and let's look at each others accounts.
If you are getting zero views or no views from the FYP (Only Followers) here are the reasons and solutions!
You Are Impatient
All information in this guide should only be followed if it has been less than 24 hours!It is normal for TikTok to delay views for up to a day.Deleting your videos and taking actions to try to fix the problem in less than 24h is idiotic and won't help your case as it may just take time.
Blacklisted Hashtags/Keywords
If you use a blacklisted hashtag/keyword in your caption or even in your video and the algorithm detects it your video will be blocked from going on the FYP. Before you post search and see if other videos are recently performing in that specific hashtag. If none are that means that hashtag is blacklisted! Do not use these words/hashtags
Under Review/Video Processing
Go on your video and try to share by copying link! If it says that your video is under review or processing you will have to wait. If your video is stuck processing (for over 24h) try contacting TikTok support or deleting/setting the video to private and then reposting it.
Posting From Camera Roll
If you are getting zero views especially on a new account it could be because you are posting on a camera roll. TikTok is very inconsistent but sometimes refuses to push videos posted from camera roll. Try making a video completely in the TikTok app (Zero Uploads) and see if that gets views.
Many people reported after they got views on one video taken in the app they were able to upload from camera roll without problems.
Something you can try if you edit videos outside of TikTok (Like me) is edit them outside of TikTok then do the following instead of uploading them like you regularly would.
- Record a 2 second video of yourself.
- Go to the editor and import your own video
- Delete the 2 second video of yourself.
- Add in a little bit of text.
- Post and see if that helps.
Unoriginal Content
This applies especially to people who make edits/reposts. Recently TikTok has been locking down on unoriginal content! If you post videos or images from other accounts or other sources such as TV shows your post might not be able to go the FYP.
Device Ban/Shadow Ban
You might start complaining thinking your device is banned or your account is shadow banned.Listen, zero views happen to even the biggest creators! Unless, you did something very wrong your device will not be banned (Such as recently or multiple banned accounts). As for shadow bans if they exist is very debatable. Whenever I look at someone who had a problem with zero views its normally only for a few videos/few days then their videos start getting views.
Spam Activity
This can be from performing too many actions on the app in a short amount of time (Unfollowing people from your account and such). Never post more than once within the same hour. TikTok actually likes when you post frequently just don't post multiple times in the same hour.
A BIG reason can be this:
Stop promoting your TikTok on other social medias! Likes/views from external links do NOT help you push your video on the FYP anyway. If people are just going on your profile and liking all your videos or droves of people are going to your profile from a link (Search too but mostly a link) then TikTok may think you are using bots on your account as this isn't normal activity.
VPN & SIM
If you use a VPN you must also use a matching SIM cars. Also, if you use a VPN make sure you are doing the below.
The VPN is always active! You must always have the VPN on your phone! TikTok does NOT detect VPNs based on IP addresses but may flag your account if you are constantly switching IP Addresses/Sims
New Account
Having a new account alone is not a reason to get zero views but new accounts are much more vulnerable to the other reasons in this post. If you are on a new account make sure your first couple posts are squeaky clean with nothing even slightly controversial (Nothing about Andrew Tate, Crime or politics. Even if you think you are sharing good information!)
Multiple Accounts
Please stop spam creating accounts to try fix the problem. This might only make it worse!Just focus on fixing your current account. Only create a new account if it has been more than 7 days and you have tried EVERYTHING including making many different posts.
Do NOT Do The Below!
Do NOT make new accounts and try post there. While TikTok won't penalize you for reposting something on the same account they will 100% deem your content unoriginal if you post it on a different account.
Reposting the same thing multiple times! If you post something once then repost it after it has been 24h do NOT repost it again. Something is wrong with the video! I know you might of spent a lot of time on the video/think it has potential but you're most likely gonna have to give up on it.
As I said in my last point don't promote your TikToks elsewhere!
Gettting only few houndreds views on your videos?
If your videos are getting two to 300 views, that's not a shadow ban. It simply means that not many people are watching your video, so the algorithm isn't giving it a big push.
A genuine shadow ban is when you're getting zero views. No one is seeing your videos, and your profile is hard to find. That's the real deal shadow ban.
Blaming the algorithm for low views when your content is a bit dull isn't the way to go. Let's focus on creating engaging content and making your mark!

Users running USA TikTok accounts (from the USA or with USA cards) have noticed some bugs that caused 0 views on new or established TikTok accounts as well. Many users have the same issues; Reddit is full or posts on this topic:
Since this is not a card-related issue but rather a TikTok issue, there are no exact instructions on how to fix it, but we got some solutions that have worked for others that we recommend trying. These are some exact fixes that worked:
- Finally got mine working (this is on the desktop) after months of not being able to follow anyone. I tried changing passwords like people said but it didn't do anything to help. I eventually figured that maybe the way I'm logging in is the problem. I always use the automatic login with my google account, so I logged out, changed my password one more time, and instead of clicking login with google, I logged in with an email/username/phone number with my new password. Then I was able to follow people. No idea how long this will last, but hope this helps someone
- I experienced the same thing! I created a new account yesterday and I wasn't able to follow anyone. I tried all the methods I came across (reinstalling the app, removing the cache, vpn and resetting my password). I also reached out to TikTok, but they didn't get back to me. For some reason I reset my password and logged in and at some point I was able to follow people again.
- what fixed mine was verifying my email address. have been having the issue for over a month on my new account & the only fix was adding and verifying an email
- I got out of that particular problem eventually. It does suck and it’s a burden. I would try to act like a human. Write comments, keep posting content preferably filming within tiktok maybe with your face
- having the same issue; created an account about a week ago - cannot even like videos. did yours work now? edit: waiting fixed it - also updated the app in the meantime, not sure if related
- solved: no fix, just wait. Took me 72 hours or ss
General suggestion on no or low post views
If you don't apply the 11 things I'm about to show you, your TikTok and Instagram accounts will get shadowbanned.
It doesn't matter how good your content is—you're not going to get any views if you mess up on one of them. Pay very close attention because these are 11 algorithm hacks that you should be using to make sure your content reaches your potential audience. Recently, the TikTok and Instagram algorithms were updated, and I want to make sure you can keep your accounts clean without any issues.
Important: Make sure you watch the full thing because the very last trick I'm going to give you is going to blow your mind.
1. Don't Create Multiple Accounts to Fix Your Issues
- Let's say you test a product and it doesn't work on one account. You might think, "This gets zero views, let me create another account and start testing my product there."
- Bad idea! Creating multiple accounts can lead to a shadowban.
- Instead, focus on fixing your current account. Only create a new account after trying everything for at least 7 days with no results.
2. Video Under Review? Wait!
- If your video gets zero or virtually no views, check if it's under review. Reviews can take anywhere between 1 minute to 24 hours.
- How to check: Try sharing your video and copying the link. If you see a popup saying your video is under review, wait and do nothing.
- If videos keep being reviewed for more than 5-6 hours, contact TikTok support, or set the video to private, let it cool off, and turn it back on after 24 hours.
3. Avoid Uploading Videos Directly from Your Camera Roll
- Warning: Uploading a video directly from your camera roll to TikTok can cause shadowbans in 10% of cases.
- Solution: Record a video using TikTok first, then add the video from your camera roll into that video. Afterward, delete the TikTok video.
4. Post Original Content
- Posting unoriginal content, like a 3-4 second clip from a TV show or another account, can lead to shadowbanning.
- Tip: Ideally, film everything yourself for better engagement and results.
5. Keep Your VPN Active
- Important: Don’t turn your VPN on and off repeatedly. Changing your IP address frequently raises a red flag for TikTok.
- For extra safety, use a matching SIM card from the country of your VPN.
6. Be Patient
- If your video gets zero views for 24 hours, don't do anything! Views are sometimes delayed.

7. Watch Out for Blacklisted Hashtags and Keywords
- Using blacklisted hashtags can result in no views. For example, the word “Andrew Tate” is one of the most blacklisted on TikTok.
- Tip: Search the hashtag on TikTok to see if anything went viral recently. If not, it's likely blacklisted.
- Keywords in your description, like "Andrew Tate," can also cause issues.
8. Device Bans and Shadowbans
- In rare cases, your whole phone might get shadowbanned if you've repeatedly been blocked or posted problematic content.
- Note: This is rare and usually only happens in severe cases.
9. Avoid Bot-Like Behavior
- TikTok monitors for spam-like activity. Actions like following or unfollowing 500 people in a row can flag your account.
- Tip: Don’t post more than every 2 hours and avoid promoting your TikTok on other social platforms, which might trigger TikTok to flag it as bot activity.
10. New Accounts Are More Vulnerable
- Be cautious: New accounts are more sensitive to issues, so avoid controversial topics like politics or crime in your first few videos.
