MCC & MNC List 2026: Mobile Country & Network Codes

Search Mobile Country Codes, Mobile Network Codes and PLMN IDs by country, operator or code.

MCC (Mobile Country Code) and MNC (Mobile Network Code) identify mobile networks worldwide. An MCC is always 3 digits; an MNC is 2 or 3 digits. Together they form the network part of a PLMN identifier and appear at the start of the subscriber's IMSI.

Important correction to the old version of this page: MCC/MNC are not part of the phone's IMEI. The IMEI identifies the device; MCC/MNC are used in mobile network and subscriber identification under ITU-T E.212.

MCC, MNC, PLMN and IMSI explained

MCC — Mobile Country Code

A 3-digit code identifying the country or geographic area associated with a mobile network. Example: 310 is one of the MCCs used in the United States.

MNC — Mobile Network Code

A 2- or 3-digit code identifying a network within an MCC. The MNC must be read together with the MCC because an MNC alone is not globally unique.

PLMN ID

The MCC and MNC combined. Example: 310260 identifies T-Mobile USA; 310410 identifies AT&T.

Search the MCC & MNC Network List

Search by country, mobile operator, MCC, MNC or complete PLMN ID. Try 310410, 310260, India, Vodafone or 460.

Type a country, operator, MCC, MNC or PLMN code.
No matching network was found. Try the full MCC + MNC pair or search by country/operator name.

Search uses the MCC/MNC network table already stored on this page. It does not send your query to an external API.

What is a Mobile Country Code?

A Mobile Country Code (MCC) is a three-digit identifier assigned within the ITU-T E.212 numbering plan. It identifies the country, territory or shared geographic/network area associated with a public mobile network. Large markets can have more than one MCC—for example, the United States uses 310 through 316, India uses 404, 405 and 406, China uses 460 and 461, and the United Kingdom uses 234 and 235.

Common MCC & MNC code searches

What is MCC 310?

310 is a United States Mobile Country Code. The US uses several MCCs, including 310–316.

What is MCC 311?

311 is also a United States MCC and is used by multiple US mobile networks.

What is MCC 404?

404 is one of India's MCCs. India also uses 405 and 406.

What is MCC 460?

460 identifies China. China also has MCC 461.

What is MCC 452?

452 is the Mobile Country Code for Vietnam.

What is MCC 208?

208 is the Mobile Country Code for France.

What is MCC 204?

204 is the Mobile Country Code for the Netherlands.

What network is MNC 410?

An MNC alone is ambiguous. With MCC 310, the pair 310-410 / PLMN 310410 identifies AT&T in the United States.

What network is MNC 260?

With MCC 310, 310-260 / PLMN 310260 identifies T-Mobile USA. Do not confuse MNC 260 with MCC 260, which identifies Poland.

MCC vs country calling code: they are not the same

A Mobile Country Code is a telecom network identifier; it is not the international telephone calling prefix. For example, the United States calling code is +1, while US mobile networks use MCCs 310–316. India uses calling code +91, while its MCCs include 404, 405 and 406.

Why leading zeros in MNC codes matter

MCC and MNC values are identifiers, not ordinary numbers. An MNC such as 01 must remain 01; it should not be converted to 1 when storing or importing telecom data. Two-digit and three-digit MNCs can coexist, so preserve the original formatting when building a PLMN ID or comparing operator records.

MCC/MNC, SIM cards and TikTok region signals

The home network identity associated with a SIM contains MCC/MNC information. For TikTok creators, this is relevant because TikTok states that it can use SIM-card region, IP address and device settings as signals when estimating approximate location. An MCC/MNC does not by itself guarantee a TikTok account region, distribution outcome or monetization eligibility.

For the practical TikTok side, see our TikTok region guide or SIM cards for TikTok region testing.

Sources and how this page is maintained

Standard: MCC/MNC identification is defined by ITU-T Recommendation E.212.

Live network records: the interactive lookup uses the public mcc-mnc.org API, which publishes MCC, MNC, PLMN, country and operator records and allows browser access through CORS.

Editorial approach: Tik.Cards adds plain-language definitions, common-code answers and TikTok/SIM context. Because operator assignments, brands and network status can change, verify a live operator record before using it for production telecom configuration.

MCC & MNC FAQ

What is the difference between MCC and MNC?

MCC identifies the country or geographic allocation; MNC identifies a particular network within that MCC. You normally need both values to identify a network unambiguously.

How many digits are MCC and MNC?

An MCC is always 3 digits. An MNC is 2 or 3 digits. Keep leading zeros because 01 and 001 are different identifiers.

Is MCC part of the IMEI?

No. The IMEI identifies a mobile device. MCC and MNC are part of mobile network/subscriber identification and appear in the IMSI/PLMN context under E.212.

What is the Mobile Country Code for the USA?

The United States uses multiple MCCs: 310, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315 and 316.

What is the Mobile Country Code for India?

India uses MCC 404, 405 and 406.

Can two countries or operators have the same MNC?

Yes. An MNC is interpreted inside its MCC, so an MNC value on its own is not globally unique. Always use the complete MCC/MNC pair or PLMN ID.

What is a PLMN ID?

A PLMN ID is the MCC and MNC concatenated. For example, 310260 is T-Mobile USA and 310410 is AT&T in the United States.
