This thread will be divided into several parts because I have a lot to share. Follow me to make sure you don't miss the next threads!
I discovered TikTok at the end of 2020 and, like many others, became addicted to the app. I spent hours scrolling through my feed and noticed that even people with relatively small followings were able to create viral videos.
This made me realize that on TikTok, anyone has the potential to go viral with great content, unlike on Instagram and YouTube where influencer status is often a factor in getting content pushed to a large audience.
So, I decided to create an account for one of my brands that had recently been banned on Facebook. Although I didn't expect much, I hoped to make a few sales a day. I waited a few weeks before posting to understand the codes, trends, and success factors that could help me go viral on the platform.
At the time, very few e-commerce brands were using TikTok, so I was inspired by regular content creators.
I also watched tutorials on how to edit videos on TikTok to be fully prepared. My first video did well, with 10,000 views and around $1,000 in sales.
But my third or fourth video really took off, with 1 million views and $20,000 in sales in a single day. It was an incredible experience.
Since discovering TikTok at the end of 2020, I have made millions in sales with zero marketing cost. It felt like I had found a glitch, and I knew I could replicate this success.
Over the past year, I have developed a strategy to maintain my momentum, listening to my audience and learning what they like in order to give it to them. Every piece of content I post is carefully designed to go viral. In one year, none of my TikToks have received less than 50,000 views because I have mastered the art of virality.
While it's important to have a large number of views, it's even more challenging to create a video that will both go viral and generate sales. Some business owners have a lot of organic views on TikTok but don't make as much money because they are either too shy or too pushy with their calls to action. It's all about finding the right balance.
I have a list of criteria for finding products that will be successful on TikTok in terms of both views and sales, but I will save that for another thread. I believe that any product or service can be successful on TikTok and generate significant revenue if the right strategies are applied. Whenever I start a new account on TikTok for one of my brands, it goes viral regardless of the product type.
My main piece of advice is to focus on quality over quantity. The notion of "posting 3-4 times a day" is misguided; it's better to focus on creating high-quality content to gain the trust of the algorithm. Success on TikTok also involves understanding the science behind the algorithm, and I will discuss this further in a separate thread.
In addition to creating top-quality content, it's important to run solid Google Ads branding campaigns because a significant portion of your viewers will search for your brand on Google rather than clicking the link in your bio. While organic strategies are not completely free, the return on ad spend can be much higher on TikTok compared to other platforms.
You might be asking how i target foreign countries on TikTok. If you want to target foreign countries on TikTok, there's no need for VPNs, proxies, or other software. All you need are two things: a SIM card for Tiktok and a dedicated phone: can be Android or iPhone and it can be old one. I personally use four SIM cards and four phones to target four different countries, and it works perfectly for me.
To conclude..
For example, with a $5 cost per thousand impressions, I would have had to pay $500,000 for 100 million sponsored views. Instead, those funds stayed in my pocket. In conclusion, if you're not using TikTok organically, what are you waiting for?
